2. Bauji’s Gurbani Vichaars – Bandhan Chootan Part 1 and 2:
Part 1 is here: http://7f0f34106303d336df54-ef1bee26fafac824966d142aadca5978.r8.cf1.rackcdn.com/Lekh%2090%20Bhandhan%20Chootan%20Part%201.pdf
These gurbani vichaars are a priceless treasure! The name BANDAN CHOOTAN is translated as Emancipation from Worldly Entanglements. They are a map or a guide for all of us, to find freedom from things that enslave us. Imagine if we can identify things that hold us captive, whether they are in the form of thoughts or things that we desire. What if we can then learn to oust these slave masters? Is it possible?

The importance of keeping the 5 K’s
In Sikhism, the Five Ks (Punjabi: ਪੰਜ ਕਕਾਰ Pañj Kakār) are five items that Guru Gobind Singh commanded Khalsa Sikhs to wear at all times in 1699. They are: Kesh (uncut hair), Kangha (a wooden comb for the hair), Kara (an iron bracelet), Kachera (100% cotton tieable undergarment (not an elastic one) and Kirpan (an iron dagger large enough to defend yourself).
The Five K are not just symbols, but articles of faith that collectively form the external identity and the Khalsa devotee’s commitment to the Sikh rehni “Sikh way of life”
WE ARE NOT SYMBOLS
This is the correspondence between a son (Jaskirat – who was in a dilemma and wanted to know why he should still be wearing the 5K’s in the 21st century) and his father,

The three pages below are gurmukh pyare, Bauji’s own handwriting with certain words underlined for added emphasis.
SInce the handwriting is at times a bit difficult to read, the following powerpoint presentation Baujis-47-life-tips-ppt is helpful to decipher some of the words.
